Logar Valley

Logar Valley is one of the most beautiful alpine valleys in Europe. The moment you enter the valley, you will be captivated by the view of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps.

A ecological fee is required for entry with a motor vehicle. If you enter the valley on foot, by bicycle, or with an electric vehicle, entry is free.

Rinka Waterfall

It is located in the heart of Logar Valley and is one of the more visited waterfalls in the country. The waterfall is a staggering 90 meters high and is ranked among the highest free-falling waterfalls in Slovenia. You can find it at the end of the valley, where you can drive by car and then take a 10-minute walk to Rinka Waterfall.

The source of the Savinja River

Above Rinka Waterfall, along the well-maintained hiking trail to Okrešelj, there is a perennial spring of the Savinja River. The water is clean and suitable for drinking.

Eagle's Nest

It is a very beautiful viewpoint overlooking Rinka Waterfall. It is a small structure located on the right side of the waterfall, right next to the rocks. On the terrace, you can enjoy a drink or purchase a souvenir for your loved ones.

The thematic trail in Logar Valley

It is a natural science and ethnographic trail that winds through the beautiful corners of Logar Valley. The trail spans the entire valley and is 7 kilometers long, taking approximately 3 hours to complete. You don't need to walk the entire trail, as you can join it at multiple points and customize its length to your preference.

The Path of the Most Beautiful Views

It's called the "Solčava Panoramic Road," offering 37 kilometers of stunning views of farms, Logar Valley, and the Kamnik-Savinja Alps. This circular route begins in Solčava or Logar Valley, equipped with informative signs and resting areas. You can see the Church of St. Spirit, the spring of acidic water, and the highest farm in Slovenia along the way.

Spring of Acidic Water

It represents a mineral spring in Solčava, declared a natural monument. The acidic water from this spring is attributed with healing properties as it is rich in iron and carbon dioxide. The spring is a 3-minute walk from the main road, and visitors can also taste the water there.

In Solčava, there is a lot of excellent terrain suitable for cycling. The Solčava Panoramic Road is especially suitable for enthusiasts of more challenging cycling, and in the valley, you have an asphalt road all the way from Solčava to Rinka Waterfall.

You can also rent electric bicycles at the tourist information center in Solčava if you wish.

Moderate difficulty trails - Matkov škaf, Klemenča jama, Okrešelj, Potočka zijalka, Lipševa vrata

Experience adrenaline – Adventure Valley

At the agency, they offer you a variety of adrenaline-filled experiences in the surrounding area. You can choose from canyoning, kayaking or rafting down the Savinja River, rock climbing, caving, and paragliding.

Olimpline

This is the longest continuous zipline in Slovenia, which you can visit in Črna na Koroškem. The cable is over a kilometer long, and you'll be as high as 206 meters above the ground.
